The basic characteristic of hypocrites is their indulgence in fitnah. The Arabic version of the word “hypocrite” is “munafiq”, which means “the one who makes a division.” Dividing believers is a fitnah as well as a great sin. There are verses in the Qur’an stating that hypocrites try to practice fitnah among believers
As for the word "faith," it implies that a person is correctly oriented to the future or, in other words, that he has the right goal, which is none other than Allah Himself, the Most Holy and Most High. So it is clear that the qiblat (the direction in which the worshiper prays)
In the ignorant societies, people lead troubled lives. This is surely a direct consequence of not putting one’s trust in Allah. Not believing in Allah, they assume they can avoid their responsibilities towards Allah and still enjoy all the worldly pleasures of life. Nevertheless, to their disappointment, one thing bothers them greatly: stress.

The wicked, those who deny God and transgress His limits, however, deserve Hell, where they will encounter eternal punishment.

According to this philosophy, a person, albeit a totally morally corrupted, might easily occupy a high and respectable status in society.
