The Pagan Origins of Halloween

Childhood observations play an important role in the acquisition of character. The culture a child learns from parents, relatives and friends deeply affects him. He remembers the good and bad things he observed in those around him during those years. Later, at a certain point, he imitates their behavior, reacting in the same way to similar occurrences and adopting the same expressions and manners. Up to a certain age, his likings, habits and behavior copy what he observes in others.
The practice of purifying the human self and turn it into a better one, through a constant process of purification and reform, has been significantly emphasized by the Qur’an which called it “Purification”. Destiny is the eternal knowledge of Allah, Who is independent of time and Who prevails over the whole of time and space, about all occurrences and situations of all the beings that are dependent on time. Allah is the Creator of all these actions and situations just as He is the Creator of "time."
The world looks so devoid of beauty and so filled with the ugliness of anger, hatred, wars, intolerance, oppression, and injustices. The world needs the guiding light of beauty that may bring rays into the darkness that is so pervasive.
Allah commanded His servants to use patience and prayer to acquire the good of this life and the Hereafter. Muqatil ibn Hayan said that this ayah means, "Utilize patience and the obligatory prayer in seeking the Hereafter. As for patience (here), they say that it means fasting."
The Day of Judgement is the day the duration predestined for this universe comes to an end. That day, the trial placed upon humanity will come to an end, and this world, the arena of this trial, will reduce to nothing. This is the end promised by God in the Qur'an. That the physical life of the universe will come to an end is a fact confirmed by scientific observation.
